FAQ
Who is Mynd for?
Athletes: Athletes who want to stop overthinking, perform under pressure, and build real confidence through structured mindset training. Teams: Programs that want to include mental performance in their development but don’t have the resources for consistent one-on-one training with every athlete. Sport Psychologists: Teams that already have a mental performance coach can use MYND to extend their impact — reinforcing their methods between sessions while tracking each athlete’s patterns, progress, strengths, and struggles over time.
How is MYND different from meditation or mindset apps?
Most meditation or mindset apps follow a simple model: they have a library of pre-recorded sessions, and based on a few answers you give, they bucket you into one of those programs. Those systems don’t account for things like your sport, position, experience level, upcoming games, recovery status, or how you’ve been performing recently.
Will coaches see my personal reflections or journals?
No. Your reflections and journals are private to you. Coaches don’t see the content of what you write or talk about. What they can see are high-level signals like engagement and team-wide trends — things like consistency with training or overall readiness — without accessing personal entries. The goal is to give athletes a safe space to be honest while still helping coaches support the team.
How much time does it take each day?
Most athletes spend about 3–10 minutes a day. Think of it like mental reps — quick check-ins, short visualizations, or breathwork sessions that fit naturally into your routine. Some days it’s just a quick reset before practice. Other days it might be a longer visualization before a game or reflection after. The idea is to make mindset training easy to stay consistent with, not something that adds another big block to your schedule The system continuously gathers signals like your schedule, game stats, training consistency, and patterns in your reflections or conversations. Using that context, MYND generates training sessions specific to the moment — whether that’s a visualization before a big game, breathwork to settle nerves, or a confidence routine after a tough performance. Instead of choosing from a static library of pre-recorded sessions, the training is created dynamically to fit your situation.
How does MYND personalize the training for each athlete?
MYND is trained on the core frameworks and protocols used in elite sports psychology. The goal is to mimic the experience of working with a one-on-one mental performance coach — one who’s always available and always paying attention to context. The system continuously gathers signals like your schedule, game stats, training consistency, and patterns in your reflections or conversations. Using that context, MYND generates training sessions specific to the moment — whether that’s a visualization before a big game, breathwork to settle nerves, or a confidence routine after a tough performance. Instead of choosing from a static library of pre-recorded sessions, the training is created dynamically to fit your situation.
Can teams or entire programs use MYND?
Yes. MYND works for both individual athletes and entire teams. Programs can roll it out across their roster so every athlete gets personalized mental training, while coaches get a high-level view of engagement and readiness across the team. It’s designed to scale mental performance training without requiring one-on-one sessions for every athlete.
